Clinical Faculty Workshop

A mini retreat for Clinical faculty hosted by the Office for Faculty and the Resilicency Center.

This mini retreat is appropriate for new and junior clinical faculty. The retreat will explore different pathways to success in academic medicine for better job fulfillment and/or preparation for promotion. Topics covered include finding purpose; leading and disseminating QIs; accomplishment of basic or clinical research; advancing education; establishing a new clinic; excellence in administration and promoting your accomplishments.

Clinical faculty who are considering going up for promotion or who are preparing for a retention or promotion review.

Drs. Lundahl and Davis will introduce participants to the benefits of motivational interviewing as well as basic motivational interviewing techniques

Drs. Lundahl and Davis will facilitate the practice of advanced motivational interviewing skills, and introduce participants to the VMI App.
